In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, slow down and get grounded as you forage for natural clay along our creek. With mentors Chris and Kim to guide you, you’ll learn how to identify workable clay in the landscape, gather it respectfully, and prepare it for shaping.

Using simple hand-building techniques, you’ll shape your own small vessel or keepsake straight from the earth beneath your feet. Expect to get a little messy as you dig, squeeze, and mould the clay; it’s all part of the fun and connection to the land.

What you’ll take home: your own handcrafted clay piece and the know-how to find and shape wild clay wherever your adventures take you.
